A site-specific dance piece performed in 2011 for the Guelph Contemporary Dance Festival, In The Street Series. Dialogue with community groups as well as conversations in the studio about our relationships with water informed the movement vocabulary and the focusing themes for the choreography.
How do we relate to water each day? What is its significance in our lives? Is water invisible to us as a society? Inspired by the fountain in St. George’s Square, this piece uses both sculptural and dynamic movement to embody different ways that water can be valued.
